Hi guys,

Regarding the K-1 visa from Jamaica, does anyone have an idea of the time frame I will have to wait for an interview once I'm ready to schedule one?

You schedule your own interview.

K-1 and CR-1 petitions are not processed the same.

For K-1, you schedule your own interview.  You don't have to wait for an available date.  You have to register and see what is available, after your case has been received at the embassy.  You will be issued a KNG number by NVC, and then you can proceed with completing the DS-160.

Thanks for the reply. I know that I have to schedule my own interview and I know the process. I was asking about how long I might have to wait to see dates that are available for scheduling. After all, I can't schedule on dates that aren't available. I got a reply though. Thanks.

As long as everything is fine with yours you should get your DQ this coming week

Thanks girl. I pray to God it happens. Only issue with mine is that I uploaded passport biographic page vertically but noticed a day after, that's when i uploaded another copy horizontally in the optional documents section. Hope they'll accept it.
