I went to a Japanese restaurant last night and my friend ordered a big plate of sea urchin sashimi. I've tasked sea urchin a few times a long time ago and remembered not liking it. So I decided to give it another go. Absolutely the most disgusting thing I ever tasted! I'm not a picky person as far as hating individual ingredients. Do you like this stuff?

I've never tried it, but I don't like seafood in general. Especially raw fish of any kind. It sounds gross to me.

Hehe. Having grown up eating a lot of ethnic foods, I don't mind eating sea urchin. Can't say that I like it to the point where I develop cravings for it, though. :P

I do have to say that it has to be very good quality, otherwise it is kinda blergh.

Well...if it tastes like fish...I won't like it anyways..lol When I was pregnant with my daughter...the smell of fish alone made me ill. I can eat Tuna fish, and some breaded and battered fish (which is a good thing since I'm marrying a Brit..lol) ..and I like shrimp cocktail and lobster..but that's the extent of my seafood liking....My daughter will be 10 this year..and I still haven't had the stomach for it. My sister made some fishy fish the other night..and hid my car keys so I would have to stay for dinner... I took one bite and got sick..lol

i don't think growing up eating ethnic foods has anything to do with it. i've been eating sushi since i was very young, yet i think uni is so yucky! lol
