opened packet from embassy (split topic)

Hello, I've received my visa accidentally opened up the visa package what's the best option to do please help me.

Contact the US Embassy and have them reseal it.

I did email them on 26th of November haven't heard anything  back yet, do you know how long it takes for them reply.

Sorry, no idea when they'll respond. 

It's a holiday today.  Don't expect a response until next week.

@Sam samThe worst that is going to happen is that you will have to take the packet back to the US Consulate to be resealed. Be patient.

Hope so I've got email from embassy today to send the package back to reseal it, still stress though

Ours looked worse after 20 hours getting banged around on the flight in my backpack.

 

Nobody at POE commented on the condition.  They’re probably used to that.

 

Might have helped I (USC) was carrying it and when I pulled it out I was like oops sorry dude.

I know it is easy for me to say, but no need to stress. They will seal it back up and send it back to you. Just a little hiccup. After you get the packet back you can travel.

They literally re-tape it and send it right back.  Just a small delay.
