Hi, I have submit an inquiry,  it's been more than 2 weeks. I have not recieve anything from NVC.

The reason I had to inquiry is the NVC oversee our interview location and gave a wrong location for interview . My husband was in Australia when I filed for him . But we picked our embassy location Bangladesh,  where he is originally from

he was in Australia for short period of time. I dont knkw why they would still choose a wrong place even after filing it right place from outside.  Now right after I received the case number I saw that mistake, I called them they told me to submit a inquiry. I have placed an inquiry. And I haven't heard anything from them . I am just stuck for no reason . I haven't pay the fees or start putting documents. I am so worried that they will ever change it. When I made that inquiry I haven't recieve any automated messages (like thanks for your inquiry) or (we have received your inquiry ) nothing like that . So now I am getting more worried that did they even recieve anything from me ? And I do have an attorney.  He also made a inquiry. He didn't recieve anything yet. I dont now , how long they will take to reply ? Or is there anything my attorney can do ? Or is there any other way I can contact with them. All they have to change the 1st three letters of the case number that will change the location of the interview.  My husband is in Bangladesh and he cant even go to Australia for a month.  And my file still with NVC . I really need some helpful suggestions . If anyone went through this situation or have any experience with NVC please feel free to guide me . The wait is getting so hard to survive:(

Thanks in Advanced !

Did you happen to call NVC? Calling was the best way to reach them for me. And as for the wrong consulate. If you put that his permanent address is Australia then they chose Australia as his interview location. Call NVC first since they still have your case file. Once it gets sent to Australia then it will be harder to sent it to another country I bet. Best of luck.

Call NVC and try to talk with supervisor. Inquiry form should work but it will take longer. So better call them. Sometimes things might not work even when calling but try to call until your problem is solved.

Thank you ! I called then couple times but I never asked for a supervisor.  So, should I ask for supervisor ? But I am worried they will not transfer the call to supervisor. Every time I called them they are keep suggesting to do inquiry form. And start paying and complete the requirements. But I am worried that if I do that they will transfer my file to Sydney. Since both departments are different. Even my lawyer tried to contact with them with an email via nvc@attorney . Still no response !
