Expedite approved for 601

Timeline

We had approval on 11 12 and 601 was approved on 11 22.  nvc asked for information, we provided amd just want to know if he will have an interview or if the visa could just be approved?

I don't think visas are ever approved without interviews.

A 601 is a waiver and not a visa from what I read. I think you still need to file your application as you are now allowed to use the waiver. I recommend that you do a google search and do a little research. January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Well he had an interview previous and was told he had to file for a 601, so we did and got it expediated and now this is what the NVC says but we did have to send his passpirt medical exam and 2 passport photos

Okay, well in that case you just wait and they will notify you if they need anything else.
