Hi! My husband and I sent our package to the USCIS Chicago Lockbox and they received it on Oct. 17th at 2:39 pm. However, we haven't received any NOAs nor have the cheques been cashed. I called USCIS more than three times (last one was this morning) and they still haven't scanned our files. Also, I called USPS and know for sure our package was delivered. Anyone in the same boat?

FROM F1 TO AOS

October 17, 2019 AOS receipt date 

December 09, 2019: Biometric appointment

January 15, 2020 RFE received

January 30, 2020  RFE response sent

Feb 7: EAD approved and interview scheduled

March 18, 2020 Interview cancelled

April 14th 2020: RFE received

April 29, 2020 Approved without interview

May 1, 2020 Card in hand

 

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

February 1, 2022 package sent

March 28, 2022 Fingerprints reused

July 18, 2023 approval

July 20, 2023 Card in hand

 

N400 

January 30,2023: Online filing

February 4th, 2023: Biometric appointment

June 15th, 2023: Case actively being reviewed

July 11th, 2023: Interview scheduled.

August 30th, 2023: Interview!

August 31st, 2023: Oath ceremony scheduled.

Sept 19th, 2023: Officially a US citizen!

I filed in october and they may be slow uploading or sending your package because you sent it to the wrong lockbox. you were suppose to send it to the Texas lockbox. Chicago is not for I-130 anymore unless you are filing I-485.

My timeline ...

10/01/2019 mailed out my AOS package. 

10/02/2019 AOS package received by USCIS Lockbox.

10/08/2019 money has been cashed by USCIS.

10/09/2019 received 3 Official Receipts Notice (I-797) via text.

10/15/2019 Hard copy NOA received with a notice date of 10/08/2019

10/19/2019 received I-797C biometric appointment. 

11/01/2019 Biometrics completed.

11/08/2019 Case was updated to show all Fingerprints were taken and case is in process date of 11/01/2019

10/02/19 AOS Package received.
10/15/19 Hard copy NOA received with a notice.
10/19/19 Received I-797C biometric appointment.
11/01/19 Biometrics completed.
11/08/19 Case was updated to Fingerprints were taken and in Process.
11/26/19 Form I-485 "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview".
01/21/20 I-765 "New card is being produced".
01/22/20 I-765 "Case was approved".

01/24/20 I-765 "Card Was Mailed to me".
01/27/20 I-765 "Card was picked up by USPS" expected delivery by 01/29/20.

01/29/20 EAD Card in hand.

03/04/20 Interview was complete but my case must be reviewed.

03/05/20 New Card is being Produced.

I would give them a call on Monday because it will marks 30 days waiting time. They should be able to look up your case.

Similar boat to me, filed on 12th oct they received 14th.

I received i765 NOA Oct 23rd but didnt receive i485 NOA until Nov 15th. Still waiting on biometrics.

I will be calling next week (Wanted to wait until after the holidays) We received NOAs for all of them a month ago as of this week. Just want to make sure there are no issues.

Just received a text update on my case status tonight around 8pm CST.

 

"Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview'

We will schedule your interview and send you a notice.

 

Question for those before me.. How long should I be expecting the notice letter in my mailbox?

 

My timeline so far....

10/01/2019 mailed out my AOS package.
10/02/2019 AOS package received.
10/08/2019 money has been cashed.
10/09/2019 received 3 Receipts Notice (I-797) via text.
10/15/2019 Hard copy NOA received with a notice.
10/19/2019 received I-797C biometric appointment.
11/01/2019 Biometrics completed.
11/08/2019 Case was updated to show all Fingerprints were taken and case is in process.
11/26/2019 Form I-485 "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

Congratz to you and honestly the US government sucks. We filed a little bit after you and haven't even received our Bio appt yet. Getting frustrated as it seems were in a pool of few people who are getting screwed by someone who sucks at their job.

Not sure if you give them a call yet, but I would be calling everyday until I get the answer lol
