Hello all,

My fiance and I are trying to pay the visa fee online after completing the DS-160. The website asked for our invoice identification number. What is this number and where do we get it? Is it on the NOA2? Any help is appreciated.

         Hi payxibka ,

From what I can figure out, it's on a letter that the embassy sends to the applicant, in what used to be called Packet 3........which my fiance never received.  I've emailed the embassy, trying to find out this number.  Is there still a Packet 3?  with a cover letter and instructions for the applicant?

                Thanks -- Virgie6810

Normally I would have a P3 letter from your country but yours I do not have. Others have shared with me their P3's which I used to pass on those who come behind you just like I have tried here with you. If you do get a copy, could you share it with me. Just PM me here on VJ with a scanned copy. Thanks.

Thanks for the information; I have looked at those but I'll scan through again.  Yes, if I get a copy of the P3 letter, I will send you a scan.  My fiance emailed the embassy yesterday and he heard back from them already, so we are hopeful that we will have the info we need soon!
