I130 petition sent no notice if they got it getting to 2months now

Has any one experience sending their petition and it takes more than a month or more, yet no notification if from the USCIS if they received  it?

I would contact USCIS to ask them where your petition is and if they got it. Did you use a tracking number for the package when you sent your I130 to see if there was a confirmation of delivery?

4 things you should check before calling.

1. Did you attach the G1145 to get notification?

2. Did you have tracking on your petition package to be notification of receipt?

3. What lockbox did you send your petition package to?

4. Have you tracked the check or money order to see if he was cashed?

We sent ours via rapidvisa and heard nothing for 3+ weeks... I would call uscis and they couldnt locate our case by our names or other information..Luckily rapidvisa was able to get a photocopy of the check used for the filing fee..and that, had the IOE reference stamped on the back by uscis...

 

So, with that I was able to see on the uscis website that our petition was already in process....and calling them again was able to find out that the case is in texas..

 

But yeah, didnt get an email or notice in the mail that it had been received..

 

While on the phone I changed my mailing address to my dads house so hopefully that fixes the issue with getting mail in the future... They were very helpful on the phone.
