Hi guys! I've received a RFE (request for evidence)to prove my relationship to my daughter.  DNA sample were collected and just waiting for 2-3 weeks for the results. Should I wait for the DNA result to come out before I send all the other evidences such as birth certificate, photos etc.. to USCIS? Thank you!

So you sent nothing in your petition package for your child? That is required the birth certificate. What all did you send? Probably why they wanted a DNA test.

My case was different! When I filed my daughter's F-130, i sent them everything that needed, pictures, and documents to support the petition. They sent me a RFE because of my daughter's late/delayed registration of birth. So the USCIS asked us to voluntarily do a DNA test! and they were asking for more evidence..

I've read all the instruction on how to file a petition. We just didn't expect that will make a big deal out of the late registration of birth.

Sorry hey even those filing CRBA at embassy sometimes are asked for DNA. Well hope it goes fast for you.

Dont wait 3 weeks. I had the Same  issue with DNa. My husband interview was on Oct 3 and they ask for DNa between my kids and him . I schedule my kids swab on Oct 9, the same day they sent the kit to the embassy abroad for my husband swab, his Ppointment was on Oct 22 to get his , and I call the lab here on Monday to make sure if they embassy sent the kit out already ( they said no but the received on tuesday) , and I called them again today and they said my results came up yesterday and they told me that they email the embassy yesterday. Good luck dont loose hope.
