HELP! Need to travel within US with expired I 94

is text msg from uscis count as NOA1?

thanks for the info! some of my friend said that its still wont be too cold, but for me it would be chilly 😅

As mentioned in TBone's great article, if you are waiting for AOS, and your I-94 has expired, at the very least you need your passport, your marriage license (if you changed names) and your Form I-797C (NOA1) receipt from USCIS that they have received your AOS application packet. If you don't have your NOA1 receipt it may come down to your detention until CBP or ICE can verify your current immigration status. His article also mentioned that CBP officers have been known to hang around TSA inspection areas at domestic airports, lurking for undocumented or illegal aliens. If your I-94 has expired and you don't have your I-797C NOA1 AOS receipt you may be considered as undocumented. We live in somewhat strange  and interesting times with regards to the executive order authorizing "enhanced immigration enforcement."  

 

A word to the wise, get all of your documents in order, particularly if you are traveling near the southern US border.

 

I would encourage to file your AOS applications ASAP, the sooner you could receive your I-797C NOA1 AOS receipt.

Depends where you'll be at (the weather can be quite different from downtown to the northeastern part of the city where we live, let alone into the suburbs), but normal December San Diego weather is highs in the high 60s or low 70s with lows in the 50s.

Every once in a while you'll get hot, dry Santa Ana winds that mean it's unseasonably warm for a few days (and a higher risk of wildfires).

 

It's much more likely to rain San Diego in December - March than the rest of the year, but it's still not likely to rain.

thanks so much! we plan on staying in la jolla area.. in google said that during night it could drop to 40s F which is cold for me😅 but i guess i can just use normal clothing as in indonesia i guess with 60 f
