Hi,

This may be a stupid questions but my ESTA expires in November, I understand I can't choose to renew early (now) so wanted to ask in advance whether I am able to reapply for the ESTA whilst I am going through the K-1? I'm currently in the early stages of the K-1 and so far have only received NOA2, which may have changes by the time I visit. I would assume it's ok but just wanted to check before planning my trip in case it's not allowed

Thanks in advance

I don't see this, I only see the posts in date order and can't see a list to this one. Can you please provide me with the link and I will check it out?

This seems to show that yopu can visit the US whilst going through the K-1. I know that you can visit as I have done so myself. However, when I visited I already had a valid ESTA, I am asking specifically whether I will be able to renew my ESTA or whether it will flag that I am in the K-1 process and not enable me to renew or whether this shouldn't matter.

The thread doesn't deal with OP's question as to whether you can apply for ESTA during the K1 process (it only covers traveling, on the assumption one already has a valid ESTA/Visa).

Looking through the questions and requirements for ESTA I can't see anything that would cause a problem for someone because they are in the k1 process. It states that its for people who don't have a current valid visa - but until you have got the k1 you are still eligible for ESTA.
