Long waiting time to receive police report in Jamaica

 My husband went to go pick up his police report from the MoBay  office today and was told that the report won’t be available until December because the Kingston office is closed. Is anyone else having this issue or know why there is such a huge delay in getting a police report in Jamaica?

The Kingston office was ordered closed by the Health Dept due to poor air quality at the location. Everyone has a delay, not only your husband. If I were your husband, I would call the Police Commisioners Office for a better explanation.

I'm sorry to hear that... My husband has not gotten notification from the NVC yet (we just got approval last week) but I wanted to know if you waited until you got the NVC notification before requesting the police report.

I just spoke with my cousin who lives in Kingston, JA and he said that they are moving the Kingston office and that there is a backlog of cases. But he said that it is good that your husband has put in his police records request because they will start on all cases once the new office is opens....

my advice  to you is to try and get the police report ASAP. because when you hear from NVC it’s for you to pay the fees and upload the necessary documents which includes the police report

the kingston office is close. call the st mary office and see what they say.

No, they all come from the central office in Kingston even though they have other offices in different parishes. Unfortunately it’s just a waiting game now. I’m not sure when they will reopen.

They have a new location open 6-8 orange street... i went to collect minds on Wednesday of this week as I did my prints on 21 one days only to be told they not facilitating that right now come back next week...
