Change of Adress issue

Hi all,

 

can anyone give me advice here. I filed I-485 about 3 years ago all was approved and now I’m coming up on removing conditions. We just bought a house in April and I filed out AR-11 online and got a confirmation to confirm change of address. Today in the mail I got a notice reminding me to file for removal of conditions but it was addressed to my old apartment.
 

Anyways I think I should be fine on this because I have the confirmation etc but my concern is now when I am searching online for answers I read that my spouse ( The us citizen sponsor) also was meant to fill out a change of address. Is this true I can’t even remember if he filed out form I-864 which is what they keep referring to. Does my US citizen spouse the one who petitioned me to come here need to fill out some forms too?

1.  Sponsors must complete an I-865 and MAIL it to USCIS.   There is no online option......

August 7, 2022: Wife filed N-400 Online under 5 year rule.

November 10, 2022: Received "Interview is scheduled" letter.

December 12, 2022:  Received email from Dallas office informing me (spouse) to be there for combo interview.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

 

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Ok so are we going to be in trouble for this now? We moved in April! No where do i remember seeing that the sponsor had to file this form for moving too I honestly only saw it now, I just remember everyone stressing the importance of me (the alien) having to let them know of this.

 

should I maybe put a letter with the form explaining we did not realize he had to fill it an reference my change of adress? Also since we moved in April , I’m assuming it’s fine to put “effective date of new adress” as April and not today since we did move technically in April
