Hello,

update: interview scheduled for January 22rd, 2020

Thanks for the update. Did you receive an email or text notification when your interview was scheduled?

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

Was it showing the same update on the "Check Case Status" page on USCIS and when you log in into the portal?

You are most welcome. And you are correct - I was hoping for it to be done before Xmas, kind of a Xmas present, but thought it was a pipe dream. Guess dreams come true sometimes ! :)

And yes, indeed - I honestly only had inside a folder in my backpack what said on the appointment letter - and the night before, I had a bout of "what if they ask me for X, and I don't have it, and they make me come back again?". So I blew about 20% of the remaining toner on my printer printing tax returns, making copies of stuff, etc. 😉

Folks, I attended today my naturalization oath ceremony and made a post with how it went at https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/531322-what-to-expect-at-the-naturalization-oath-ceremony/page/5/?tab=comments#comment-9977558 in case anyone wants to read about a "fresh" experience with the oath ceremony.

I'll be updating the "Passport tracker" forum soon.

Just got the N-400 Citizenship Interview letter!!!!

YAAAY!

See them in February!

Profile pic - Rainbow Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

2012 - First Night spent in the US - Waikiki Beach, Honolulu

2016 - Wedding on the beach, Honolulu, Hawaii

2016 - Honeymoon at the hotel in this photo, Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii

They were filming a scene of Hawaii Five-O in the suite above ours during our Honeymoon stay! Actors everywhere!

Spouse hung out here with celebrities from the movie The Fifth Element back when he moved to Hawaii

2016 - US Spousal Visa, via DCF, Manila, Philippines

....................................

PETITIONER (from NYC)

1999 - Got a place right down the street from this hotel - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii

2007 - Visited Philippines on vacation

2008 - Got a condo in Makati, PH

2012 - Considered for a role on the TV show, The Last Resort, shot out of Hawaii
