I got my GC, should I withdraw my EAD renewal?

No action needed on your part. They should close it on their own...it won't impact you no matter what they do.

It is two months now, they just send me a letter saying they will reuse my fingerprints for my renewal EAD. I wonder when they will close my case? 

 

I called them and the agent said I should withdraw my case or wait they close my case. But she said, if I waited they to close my case, I won’t have a good reference. I don’t know what I should do.

You can send a letter to withdraw if you want. But if you don't do anything, it will have no negative impact on you. The green card remains valid and is the best document to use for showing eligibility to work (or a DL/state ID + unrestricted SSN).

You dont need do anything, they will close your case, that happened to me.

i got my gc and months later the close the case

K1 2017

Aos sent April 2018

Aos interview July 2018

Work permit September2018

Biometric reused june 28, 2021

N-400 online April 27, 2022 base on 3 years rule, biometric reused.

N-400 interview on December 12, 2022 combo interview i-751. Approved.

January 11, 2023 oath ceremony, Indianapolis. After that done with uscis😂🤭🤫

I took my oath ceremony in Indianapolis, it was a nice ceremony, where people from 35 coutry become american citizen.

01/11/2023 officially done with uscis :)

January 13, 2023 apply for us passport.( regular service).

March 11, 2023 passport in hand
