So I am a but confused. Was happy to come home and see a letter from USCIS in the box we have been expecting the bio-metrics appointment letter any day.

Anyways we open it up and the date for our appointment Wednesday October 2nd.  Here is where I am confused. The USCIS website for my field office https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices/oklahoma-oklahoma-city-field-office

says they are closed on Wednesday.

Do they still do bio-metrics on this day or is the government playing a cruel joke on us?

Biometrics is at an application support center. They're sometimes in the same place as field offices, but sometimes not (here in San Diego, the ASCs are in suburbs north and southeast of the city, while the field office is downtown). Check your letter.

Did some more digging and found this site https://egov.uscis.gov/office-locator/#/ascprofile/OK/Oklahoma City/XDD

So I guess that means same location different hours of operation .
