I read and heard from various internet posts about the new rule for Public Charge that will affect the K1's when they apply for Adjustment of Status. Is it true that the minimum income requirements for adjustment of status applicants will get doubled?

For example:

Household of 3 (Including all currently and previously sponsored aliens) is $21,330. So after October 15, 2019 the petitioner has to make $42,330 annually for her to sponsor the fiance and the minor child?

Is this correct?
