Hello,

My priority date was 09 Dec 2007 which got active in the month of Aug 2019. Received invitation from NVC on 13 Aug 2019 to complete the due process.

I am currently in the process of filling DS 260 for my F3 visa. I have a query in reference to Police Clearance Certificate (PCC).

I know that it needs to be carried in original at time of Interview, but do we need to submit a scanned copy along with DS 260 ?

Looking forward for your inputs.

Thank You.

After you submit your visa application form DS 260, then the civil documents that are required will be listed. You will then have to attach the PCC. Make sure all documents are uploaded vertically and are scanned clearly. If any are horizontal NVC rejects the form and asks you to upload them again. You will be back in the queue again for the documents to be reviewed.

Thank you for your valuable input relating to uploading documents in vertical format.

Have you got your PCC ? If yes, how long did it take for your PCC to come through.. I have applied for PCC on 22nd and as of today I have not received any call from my local police station.

Hi

i am based in Sydney. The Indian consulate issued me a PCC for India. I got it in 3 days.

If you are still in India, you have to get your PCC from regional passport office. That’s the NVC requirement.

Did you request it thru regional passport office and just waiting for police verification?

I am based in India. I had applied for my PCC through Regional Passport office only. It seems there is a delay from the concerned Police station.

Hello Jigar,

priority date December 2007 for F3 category is NOT active yet. As per October 2019 bulletin, F3/India is at September 15,2007. Just for information. Best of luck with DS260 and rest of the process. Please share progress as you go through this process. Thanks

I received DQ for my case on 04 Jan 2020. My priority date (09 Dec 2007) got active in March 2020 visa bulletin. Should I receive IL in the month of March 2020 or will it take longer ?

Can some share their experience in reference to receiving of IL post DQ, how may days does it take once your priority date is active.

Thanks, I think you should receive IL this month. If not, you should call NVC.
