Yeah I saw that, I just wanna make sure that that one is enough.

My RFE letter has been an odd one. One of the stuff they put in there are wedding picture and others and affidavit from people that knows us. There were 4 pages of pictures we sent, two more that we gave during our interview. We also sent 2 affidavit letter and the IO even said it’s not that big of a deal since anyone can write the letter and yet we are being ask for an affidavit again. 😬

Good question! So long story short, we did our adjustment of status interview this past June, yesterday we got an RFE and one of the stuff on the list is a police clearance which I’m surprised since I thought if I’m adjusting from the US that I don’t need it and that the biometrics is part of the background check.

After AOS interview, did you already get your GC? and this RFE came AFTER you got a GC?

No, no GC yet, they didn’t approve us after the interview. The officer said she will review the application and she either approves it or sends an RFE

Unless you are immigrating to somewhere outside the US, there's no need to get any police certificates for anywhere within the US.

We surprisingly had to go to the HPD, pay 3 bucks, and bring one to our AOS interview.

ok.  Sorry to hear of the delay.  I think though, the states they mentioned is just an "example, such as" thing.  Get what you need for any states you lived in for the past years you've been here.  Being having only a ticket one time, you will skate through.  They are just trying to "make sure" there was no ticket in another state that you forgot to mention.  Good luck!!

Wow 3 bucks how I wish mine cost that much, based on what I found looking it up online, the one from Pennsylvania cost 27 bucks and the one here in California is 32 bucks.

You’re subsidizing someone.

They doubled it to $6 now.  Inflation I guess.
