My wife and stepson came in 6 months ago on a k1 and k2 finance visa. We got married within the 90 days  and now applying for adjustment of status and filling out the I-485 and filling out forms. My questions is when filling out the form I-131 for my 10 year old boy does he sign or the mother? My wife who also filled out the same form but don't see anywhere to put kids that will be traveling , since he is a minor I don't want to have immigration give me any issues.

Any insight would be great.....

You can't get a SSN before a green card without the I-751 -  in case that matters for your tax filing.

if you have an unexpired i94 you can go directly and apply to social security card but my questions are in regards to my 10 year old and the applications that apply to him for change of status he can't get a ssn anyways
