Case status says ready but embassy hasn’t received the case yet

Hi everyone!

I was just wondering why the USEM in Madrid is telling me they haven’t received my case yet if the status says « ready » on the ceac website?

It’s been a week today that it shows ready on this website so I really don’t understand why and I am getting really frustrated because of that I already have all my documents ready to go for Packet 3 to the embassy...

sometimes the CEAC tracker seems to go by when the electronic copy gets to the embassy/consulate, but they don't actually do anything before the physical copy gets there (was definitely the case for Moscow earlier this year). Does the "DHL hack" show your shipment in Madrid? Also, are there any Spanish holidays observed by the embassy right now (also can delay things)?

Oh really? How long was it taking for Moscow to get the physical file then?

and what is the DHL hack? Is it the last letters of the case number? If yes, yes it shows MDD at the end of the case number since July 31st

It took another week or so after it was 'Ready' before they sent a non-form email to Anastasia ... but our case left NVC just after Christmas, and there are a lot of holidays in Russia around the end of the year.
