Hello.

271 days (and a congressional inquiry) of waiting for USCIS to review my returned petition and now 159 days (with another congressional inquiry) for USCIS to re-affirm my petition.

This is one of the few times being woken up by email at 2:41am is a good thing 😎

So what happens next? I assume it'll pass back via NVC very quickly to London Embassy. I guess another Police Certificate and medical and possible interview?

Congrats Richard!  Wow ... what a journey for you!  You probably need a new Police certificate. Not sure when your last one was dated. I believe they are valid for a year. The medical will likely need to be redone as well.  Wait and see where the petition goes next and I guess you just follow the prompts from there. Wishing you all the best!

Did you ever find out what the hold-up was? I never understand this black hole where some petitions and applications go with no explanation!

I never did find out. Took two congressional inquiries to get this far.

Yeah the medical and police certificate were valid for the interview ... Jan 30th 2018. They're well out of date. I'll be arranging new ones as soon as I'm able in a day or two.

That’s great news Richard! Hope it’s clean sailing from here.
