Hello! My fiance and I are applying for a fiance visa this coming december and we are wondering about the household requirements. I have a few concerns about it:

1) he lives with his mom (employed) and his nephew (unemployed). He does not list them on his dependents on his tax.

2) is he required to put them and count them on the household size?

3) He is currently employed for a new job for almost 2 months now. He has to quit his previous job because he visited me here in the philippines recently for a month and his old job didnt allow him for a leave. Does him being employed for a short duration will affect our application for a k1 visa?

we computed his estimated annual income with his current job and it will be around 20-23,000 USD annually.

Thankyou in advance for the help!

Depends on what he makes by the end of the year.  Next year’s tax return, and ongoing income need to meet or exceed the requirements.

He also has to count his daughter in his household size.

Is he going to be getting a place for the two of you when you arrive? Living with his mother and unemployed nephew will not be a great start to married life. Although at least you and the unemployed nephew will have something in common.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

What i mean is my fiance’s mom, my fiance and my fiance’s nephew all live together in one house. He will be getting a place for us though once we file the application form.

And also his daughter isnt in contact with him ever since she was born and is currently living with her mom (my fiance’s ex) so basically they are estranged. Is putting his daughter in the household size really necessary?

Only dependents that he lists on his tax return are counted.  If the daughter is claimed as a dependent on his taxes he must include her.   For the I-134 that would be you & him, and very likely his daughter.  The embassy in Manila uses the 125% guideline for the K-1.  https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p
