Hi,

We sent in our i130 package back in February of this year, and just received a letter basically asking for duplicates of everything we already sent. I'm not sure if they lost everything, they sure didn't lose our check. 😅  Anyway, I have a question about re-sending / re-submitting our Nikah Papers and Nadra Marriage Certificate. My husband and I are fairly confident we have the correct documents, we have the translated versions that go with the ones written in Urdu. However, on the letter they stated that the documents we submitted are not correct.

Does anyone have an example of what the Nadra marriage certificate is supposed to look like? Ours is signed and stamped twice by the courts in Sargodha, Pakistan but i am scared that maybe what we have is not correct or missing something. Is there a standard form? Any help is greatly appreciated.

It  should look something like this and have been created by the Union Council of where the beneficiary lives.  This does not need a translation as it is in English and Urdu but you'll need a translation of the Nikah.

Hope that helps!

Both are correct examples.  The second one is more recent, so what you receive will probably look like that (format changes)
