Has anyone heard about any recent changes regarding Potomac I -130 processing? It looked like it takes approximately 4 months to get NOA 2, is that still true? I filed mid April and expected adjudication by mid August, now it's showing January - Feb 2020

I'd appreciate any relevant info

We filed 08/2018 and we are still awaiting to get the NOA2.  I done 2 case inquiries to USCIS, our attorneys office has also send out requests for status and I have also involved my Congress and still nothing.   We are just 3 weeks away from it being 1 year since we filed.

Good luck...

Yeah, my estimate has changed to April-August 2020 from November 2019 overnight. It's based on VJ user data so I'm hoping someone just entered a rogue timeline that skewed the data? That's a BIG overnight jump.

CR-1 VISA TIMELINE (LONDON EMBASSY)

26th May 2019 — Married 💕

12th July 2019 — I-130 sent

19th July 2019 — NOA1, assigned Potomac service center

17th March 2020 — NOA2!
21st March 2020 — NVC case number received, all fees paid
25th March 2020 — Fees accepted, DS-260 completed
26th March 2020 — All NVC documents submitted
19th May 2020 — DQ!
2nd June 2020 — Expedite requested (primarily medical reasons)
5th June 2020 — Expedite approved by embassy
8th June 2020 — Case in transit NVC --> London

9th June 2020 — Call from London to schedule interview

16th June 2020 — Interview (221G, pending medical results, everything else fine)

17th June 2020 — Medical (mostly went well but something odd was showing on chest x-ray, cue stress)

22nd June 2020 — Medical confirmed all-clear and sent to embassy (P H E W)

2nd July 2020 — Visa status changed to issue, notification from courier

3rd July 2020 — Arrived at depot, informed I can't collect due to COVID-19 lockdown in Scotland. Had to get it rerouted (took a LOT of phonecalls)

4th July 2020 — Visa/passport received!

The approval period is supposed to be 6.5 months in potomac

Does this mean that the estimates on the official website are wrong?

Hello all I just called them this morning because I got a RFE for my marriage cert and sent it back quick. I see some people within days or weeks get their NOA2. Well me not so lucky because i didn't call or bother then until July 5th 61 days after my RFE. i called then they told me another 15-30 days ok no problem don't mind waiting give me time to get what i need together and funds being im applying for my husband and our 2 daughters. Well this morning makes 76 days passed so i told the lady i am not understanding if your paper is telling me 60 days and it 76 why haven't i heard anything. She said well you can look up the processing time online i told her i did that and still was clueless. she told me she didn't see in the system that they will need anything more and i am waiting to be assigned to an approval officer and she said the time frame for them to get a person on it is 6 1/2 to 8 1/2 months and since i'm at my 6 months now im just waiting. She told me to keep checking because it can change anywhere from now  and the 8 1/2. I hope this can help someone if they are waiting as well.
