hi has anyone of you tried calling the USCIS regarding advance parole & work permit outside processing times? We’re approaching our 8th month for both and from the USCIS site the processing for AP is 6-8 mos and for EAD it’s 6.5-8.5 mos. It’s frustrating to see other people receive theirs when some of them filed early 2019 (we filed last November 2018). Anybody experiencing the same??? I don’t know if requesting to expedite AP & EAD would be effective

Once you're outside of the processing time you can contact them: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do Or contact the Ombudsman: https://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance Or your congressional representative's office.

Yes, do call. You are outside of processing time, so you should be able to speak to someone.

We had my husband's expedited with a letter of job offer, passed employment drug screening, and a note from my OB saying that I'm close to giving birth. We will be receiving his EAD hopefully this week. If you have anything similar going on, you may want to try to expedite it.

What reason would be given to expedite?  Is there a job offer, or immediate need to travel?
