We call the embassy every week. They tell us to email. We email and receive an auto response saying they don't respond to immigrant visa cases.

do you know if this form is only for ur f4 visa or they asked to fill it for any other type of visas?

i guess ds-5535 form is for all visa types, but not every one is asked to fill it,

today a family of 5 were asked to fill this form, each one had to fill it.

Hey guys, My Case was sent to Beirut, Lebanon on Sept 4th 2019 from NVC and I’m still waiting for an email from the embassy for the next step. Any idea how long it usually takes?? I’m from the USA and my fiancé is in Lebanon.

What does your status say? You can usually move forward and set up your appointment if something is available if your Status shows Ready.

go to :https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ and put your case number, it should tell you about your status

If it’s the BRT case number it shows invalid. I tried:( My fiance also hasn’t filled out the DS160 yet. Do we need to do that first?

Make sure you are searching it in CEAC under non immigrant visa, not immigrant.

Yes I have. NON IMMIGRANT is what I’m clicking on. Does the DS 160 need to be submitted first??

No, it doesn't. Look it up under Immigrant.

Anyone know what is the status with Jad?

My fiance had an interview Sep 17th 2019 for K1 Visa and still nothing from the embassy, all I get is ready status

My husband is currently at the US embassy In Beirut after the long wait the day is finally here. We are a “ Ir1 case” Please send us your prayers🙏🏼 i also am praying for you all, hopefully everyone will hear something good soon. Ill keep you updated on what happens with my husbands case
