As of Friday, June 28, 2019, CGI website is showing no K1 appointments are available at this time.  We're highly upset!

It's not unusual that an appointment is not available for a K-1 interview. The embassies open their calendar when they have managed all the other cases with interview have been spoken for. Once they are at that point they will open the scheduling again. No one knows with any certainty when that will happen. Keep checking and you might be able to snag a canceled appointment.

That’s normal. The same happened with us. About a week later May opened up. Keep checking.

I’m hoping something opens up for July or August.  When I checked last week, it was saying the next available appointment was August 23rd....then on 6/28/19, there were none available.

Snagging a cancelled appointment is what I’m hoping for lol! Especially if it’s in July!  Our case has been ready since May 20th.

Any updates to if appointments have become available for July or August? We are in NVC stage will need an appointment soon.

I checked everyday for the past week and a half and FINALLY the calendar opened up yesterday!  They had 2 appointments open for late July and 2 open for August.  They had a few for September too.  We took the August 1st slot so we could have time to get the medical exam and police report.

I appreciate your reply. We are hoping for the best. Was the wait for NVC then to Lagos long?

No, not long at all.  It took less than a month for our file to be sent to Lagos from the NVC.  We got the approval from USCIS on 4/22/19 and our file was ready on 5/20/19.

That's is great news. I know i need to be more patient. Our NOA2 was 6/24/19 and I called NVC today and they don't have our case yet. Hopefully anyday now. Thank you
