Hi VJ members, I just got a call from ISB embassy that my visa is ready and if I can fly before 2 July (Tuesday) as my medical will expire on Tuesday. I told that guy to let me discuss this thing with my family and if you can call me in 1 hour. Is this something happened to anyone else here before and did you get a call back from embassy.

Please let me know.

Could at least help the community by now by doing that.

If you're asking if the call was real is your medical going to expire on the date they said? If so maybe they are being legit. You could be calling the embassy in return to verify. Maybe ask for an email to validate that it's coming from the embassy.

If you can't fly let them know and ask about scheduling a new medical and how quick with the visa be issued afterwards.

The hard part is done getting that approval and the call was just a courtesy in regards to hold off on till you can get a new medical done.

Fill your timeline thanks.

Yes, the call was legit and I confirmed my case number. I got a call again and the dude said let me get signed your passport from officer and I will send it to G-8 from where you can collect your passport.

I am hopeful that I will get my passport by the end of today or tomorrow.

lets see how things go :)

Filed: F-3 Visa Country: Ghana

The call is legit... I met a lady at the Ghana Embassy, the consulate called her and asked if she could travel before a certain date and she told them yes because she wanted to avoid paying for another medicals. To avoid further delays, I think it's best to accept the deal and travel asap :)  Congrats to you and your family
