Need help with NOA1 timeline from any May I-130(Spouse) filers to CSC?

Hi,

I need some help to determine if I should have received my NOA1 (I believe its called) by now for my I-130, which I filed for my wife on 05/17/07 (recv'd by CSC per USPS web tracking). If it matters, I overnighted it late on 05/15/07 and hence it was received by CSC at 10:30 AM on 05/17/07 according to USPS.

My question:

In short, as of 05/31/07, I still haven't received any notice/correspondence from USCIS/CSC in regards with my wife’s I-130 application. In addition, as of today (05/31/07), even the check hasn’t been cleared from my bank account. I was told that I should receive the receipt in a week or so and since its been two weeks now, I was wondering if I should be worried about it and if I need to start emailing/calling (if its possible to do so at this point in time).

The reason why this is so important to me is becasue I am planning to file I-129F for the K-3 visa for my wife and hence its required for me to wait for the I-130 receipt, so that I can include it in my I-129F package.

Is there currently a delay at CSC in initial processing of I-130, at least as far as NOA1 is concerned? Can anybody please give me some input and if other May I-130 filers to CSC can share their timeline/status with me that 'd be great.

I am too in the same hole with you brother, I sent my I-130 to the TSC 5/11 and now its been 20 days and still I have not gotten my NOA1 or have seen my check clear. I really wonder what is the deal too.

I havent received my NOA1 either and I mailed mine back on April 24. I ended up calling USCIS a few days ago to get my case number. I waited that long because it states on the USCIS website to wait 30 days after mailing your petition before calling them if you haven't received a receipt in the mail. I noticed on some other threads that people were mentioning CSC wasn't being very good about mailing the NOA1's.

We mailed our I-130 to VSC on May 4th. They received it on May 11th. Not a peep since then. No NOA1 and they haven't cashed our check yet either. We too are going to file K-3 as soon as we can. Looks like all the centers are slooooooow.

Just relax, unfortunately is the season, everybody is waiting for the NOA1. I've file my on Apr, 20 (I-130) and still no NOA1. It's frustrating because we are just waiting for the NOA1 to file for the I-129!

I am in the same boat as most of yall. I filed my petition in mid April. Californ i a did not receive it until really the 16th but inputed it in the system on the 24th and cashed my check on the 27th of April. I found out my case number by looking at the 3 letter 10 digit number on the back of my check. ( knowledge is power, thanks to these helpful forums). To this date I have not received any notice or receipt. But I will tell you this. I dont remember the I-129F stating that the I-797 needed to be included. All I read is that they needed proof that the I-130 was filed/ pending or approved. Mine is pending, so I mailed the I-129F with a copy of my check front and back and I provided the slip on line in the USCIS sight, where you type in your case number and it shows the current status. I confirmed my case number by doing an infopass. (I was given the runaround through the customer service line. They told me sometime in mid May to do an info pass with an immigration officer, since I realized I had to make a correction on my petition. So I did on the 24th of May, and turns out that they could not tell me much in the Sacramento Field Office, but they did confirm the case number and my name and my pookies. The immigration officer there told me to email USCIS and ask the status since I have not received anything. So I did that and then I receive a response that they are not to receive inquiries from the public but they would "re-send" the notice. The person stated that I needed to call customer service. Of course Im pissed cause its not my fault that the customer service told me to see an immigration officer who told me to email who told me to call customer service. Once I got ahold of someone, I told them that I did not like how they are passing me off. She told me to wait 45 days at the most to receive a receipt and if not try again and was nice to transfer me with an immigration officer. I told him my situation and told him that I wanted to take the K3 visa route. So he typed some stuff in and gave me a transaction number and told me to wait 30 days. If I did not receive anything in 30 days, to call customer service and provide them the transaction number for request of receipt. I hope that answers someones question. Yall are not alone

I'm waiting for the 30 days to call them up and hopefully they have a case number for me or something to spark the hope. It can get very despressing without a response. You kind of wonder in your head if they even got it at all. I sent it to the Vermont Service Center but it looks like they are all running pretty slow. May filing is crammed because of all the applicants. I'll keep you and everyone else posted if I get a nod from the VSC. Have patience and faith ya'll.. we'll get through it
