On May 30, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485

APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow

any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call

customer service.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status

results listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within

the current processing time listed*, please contact USCIS Customer Service at

(800) 375-5283.

*Current processing times can be found on the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov

under Case Status & Processing Dates.

Yup- I get it we are approved, but are they mailing the greencard? Welcome notice? Just a copy of the approval, I don't get it - any one else get this...and what came in the mail, card or ?????

An approval notice, like they say.

That doesn't mean that you won't also be getting the card soon, maybe even before you get the approval notice. But this particular status report is with regard to the notice, not the card.

Yup this much I know- but then it is the card they are sending, or a "approval" notice like they say, what did u get?

You'll get the approval notice, followed by the card ( I got a seperate e-mail saying they ordered card production). I have the letter now, waiting for my GC next! :)

AOS:

2007-02-22: Sent AOS /EAD

2007-03-06 : NOA1 AOS /EAD

2007-03-28: Transferred to CSC

2007-05-17: EAD Card Production Ordered

2007-05-21: I485 Approved

2007-05-24: EAD Card Received

2007-06-01: Green Card Received!!

Removal of Conditions:

2009-02-27: Sent I-751

2009-03-07: NOA I-751

2009-03-31: Biometrics Appt. Hartford

2009-07-21: Touched (first time since biometrics) Perhaps address change?

2009-07-28: Approved at VSC

2009-08-25: Received card in the mail

Naturalization

2012-08-20: Submitted N-400

2013-01-18: Became Citizen

My first email was Welcome Letter Sent that same day in snail mail I got an approval letter from my DO.... Then 2 days later an email that Card Production has been Ordered... the next day welcome letter arrived by snail mail... 8 days after approval I got my Green Card and the email that Approval notice Sent.....

Don't know if the machine is broken or if it's just a little ADHD...... but Congrats on your approval whichever order it comes in doesn't matter so much once you have your green card in hand.

May 29, 2007... GREEN CARD ARRIVES.. and email from CRIS approval notice sent (Day 75)

Sept 25, 2008... Moved to the UK

Feb 24, 2009... Mailed I-751 to CSC from UK

December 30, 2009... Approval notice!!

Jan 9, 2010... 10 year GREEN CARD arrives.

May 31, 2012... Express Mailed N-400 application to the Nebraska Service Center for military spouses filing overseas

Jun 11, 2012... NOA date and Cheque cashed Day 11

Jun 28, 2012... Placed in line for interview scheduling Day 28

Jul 20, 2012... Email from USCIS London for info to schedule interview Day 50

Sep 1, 2012... Moved back to the USA

Sep 12, 2012... Email from USCIS London scheduled for interview/oath Sept 28th in the UK(will be day 120)

Nov 26, 2012... Had submitted change of addresses. Notification that I have again been scheduled for interview Day 179

Dec 1, 2012... Letter arrived Day 184 with new interview date Jan 4, 2013 (Will be day 218)
