How long did your police certificate take to arrive?

Hi all! 

 

I've waited the full 10 working days after sending off the ACRO form and no news of the police certificate yet. I can't see any emails from them apart from the confirmation I received.

 

If there's an issue, should I have heard by now? How long would be appropriate to wait before getting in touch?

Have you asked the person you chose to confirm your identity if they've been contacted?

You can call them up and ask for an update. I had paid for a 10 Day one but 4 days in upgraded it and paid the £35. Unfortunately, it was a bank holiday the week after some it actually didn't make much difference haha

If there is alot of background checks, it maybe taking awhile?

Of course they emailed today to let me know it's being shipped tomorrow - so seems like all is fine 😂

 

I don't have any criminal history or anything that would complicate the process, etc - will have to ask my neighbour (endorser) if they contacted her. Otherwise maybe they were just busy!

Mine took about three weeks to come, so guess they’re fairly busy - can see yours is on it’s way now 🙃

Ordered on the 3rd, got an email on the 13th saying they were going to post it on the 14th, and it arrived today
