I just saw that our checks were cashed on June 27. I tried the number on the back of the check at the USCIS web site but the system could not find our case. How long before I will be able to check our status? Is checking the case the same as with the I-129? I put our number MSC07270214XX in the box for checking your case online.

The numbers on the backs of the checks might well not be the right ones (mine weren't) - sounds like for most/many people, they're a bit 'out', ie the case numbers turn out to be the next few numbers along in the sequence from the ones printed on the checks. In any case, even with the 'real' numbers from the NOA, it can take a few days for them to show up in the online case status thing - you might get 'invalid number' for a while. :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

yanno....its great to celebrate today....but it stinks that I won't be getting any mail! LOL :lol:

Our Timeline:

06/19/07: AOS/EAD packet finally off in the mail!

06/21/07: Package arrived in Chicago (Day 1)

06/27/07: NOA1 recieved for I-130 and EAD and I-485 (Day 6)

06/30/07: I-130 and EAD and I-485 *touched* (Day 9)

07/12/07: RFE for proof of joint sponsor's citizenship (Day 21)

07/21/07: Biometrics Appointment in Atlanta (Day 31)

07/23/07: Returned RFE with wanted documents arrives in Missouri (Day 33)

07/25/07: I-485 *touched* (Day 35)

09/06/07: EAD Card Production Ordered (Day 77)

09/12/07: EAD Card recieved in the mail!!! (Day 83)

09/18/07: Interview in Atlanta!!!!!!!!! (Day 89) APPROVED PENDING NAMECHECK!!!!

11/09/07: Card production ordered!!!

11/20/07: Greencard received!!!!!!!!

08/15/09: I-751 package mailed!

08/17/09: Package delivered to VSC.

08/18/09: NOA 1 Extension Letter!! (received 08/24/09)

08/20/09: Check cashed!!

09/29/09: Biometrics in ATL!

My checks were cashed on June 25.....same as the receipt date and the numbers turned out to be 3 to 6 digits off when I received the NOA. Today is July 4th and I still can't access my accounts online. Yes....check your account exactly the same as the I-129. Set up the account with name and password and add the MSC #'s. It won't let me add them now .......says invalid account numbers. Hopefully the system will be updated soon.

I'm thinking same thing. a k-1 only sends to local service center if applying for EAD before submitting AOS.
