NOA2 expired, can we extend?

Hello

our application was sent to the London embassy in February, however due to some family problem we needed more time to complete the process before the beneficiary could move to the US. Is it possible to extend the NOA2 since the embassy already has our approved application or in 6-8 months time we will have to do the whole process again? If so, how do we extend ? Thank you

Hi thanks, so we have to send an email or call the embassy?

Usually it is automagic but an email can be sent for peace of mind

Yes however we didn’t book the interview yet nor the medicals, and the noa2 is expired and we need few more months. We thought we would do the whole process again from zero but someone said that it’s possible to ask for an extension

What does ceac say when you look it up?
