Hi everyone!

Question:

My fiancee will be obtaining her K1 visa fairly soon, and as such, I have started searching for flights around the anticipated dates we expect to receive the visa (of course, I am not booking until we actually have the visa in hand). I will be flying out to Cebu to meet up with her and then flying back to America together. I am seeing that booking 2 round trip tickets (in my case from Cathay Pacific, LA to Cebu) is cheaper than any option involving one 1-way ticket for her and one round trip ticket for me. Will there be any issues with me booking the two round trip tickets despite the fact that my fiancee will only be returning with me (in other words, she will not be on the flights to Cebu, only coming back to LA). I figure being that I'm paying for both seats for all flights involved, they shouldn't really care who (if anyone) is occupying them, but you never know...

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Yes.  If any of the prior legs are not flown,  the airline has the right to cancel the rest of the ticket

YMMV

Buy an RT from PI for her if you're worried about cheaper.  Just put the return leg out a year in case she wants to use it to visit.

The way you're planning will cause the airline to cancel the return leg as the outbound would not be flown
