I have my medical on Friday (17th may) and interview 31st may, we filed in October and now we're at the business end of it so to speak the nerves are really kicking in. It's been really helpful and encouraging reading people's experiences to give me a better understanding of the process. So thank you to everyone who gives people like me a little insight into their own journey.

Seeing your from England it will most likely be a very easy interview .....you got this 🤗 when i was getting my stuff ready for my interview a vj friends of mines told me this... Your just allowing a stranger to take a look into your love story showing them why it need to continue that's it!!! You're good!

Don’t worry @Carl., you’re going to be fine. Someone once described the conversation at the embassy as being like when you talk to the nosy dinner lady at work...so how did you meet? Have you met her family? Where are you having the wedding? Etc... I think it was @LukeU who described it as such.

But yeah, don’t worry about it...if you’re anything like me you, you like talking about your fiancé, so it’ll be a fairly nice chat...and if you don’t like talking about her, then it’s only a 5-10 minute interview, not too long 🙃.

Good luck mate!

You will be totally fine! I went with my husband when he had his interview and they literally asked "How did you two meet?" and he was approved within 2 minutes, tops! I was pretty nervous before hand but we were out and celebrating within 45 minutes after entering the embassy doors! Just go in, be confident and answer truly and you will be fine :)
