Oh that's great to hear! Does that work for me also as I return to the US after our first trip next year?

The wedding is the 22nd June 7:30PM (Vegas time), 03:30 UK time (23rd June)!  I'll be sure to come and join in the following day or so back here and see what everyone is up to!

Yep, I can confirm this - she could’ve as your fiancée too, if you flew anywhere together! I found this out when we flew back to the UK from Prague together - I got through nearly an hour before Herschell...the lady that stamped his passport asked him why he’d not gone to the EU line with me (when he explained he was travelling with his fiancée) and told him they don’t split families up, so he should go with me next time 🙃.

That's great news! Hopefully it works on Courtney and I returning to the USA also!  She'll be happy to know, maybe the first time I won't tell her....just to make it seem better the next time ;)

That's evil. It probably depends on your US airport. Ask an attendant before you get in line. We never travelled back from the UK before I had my greencard, but the choice at our airport was Visitors and Residents, and I was a permanent resident. I would guess as a family, you could go with her no matter your status at the time.

I would never,  I wouldn't be brave (or mean) enough to! To be honest, by the time we leave for the UK I'll likely have the Greencard all been well. It'll be a good chunk of months after the wedding :)

We'll be sure to find out.

I had my greencard less than six months after POE. Our first trip back wasn't until about the 18 month mark. It was kind of amazing sitting together on the trip after so many years of goodbyes at the airport.

That's it. We're quite lucky as we do get a trip together to fly to Vegas for the wedding and back ofcourse. But the first international one (I imagine back to the UK) will be amazing I'm sure. It's strange sat here now knowing this time in 2 days, we'll be back home and just done with the timezones and only communicating through a screen! :)
