I spent around $800 or so on visit vaccines and xray. However, I asked for a reimbursement form to file a claim against my health insurance. Hoepfully I recoup some of these funds. 5weeks out I will know.

That would be great if they reimbursed you. It's just going to be money spent for us. We'll know how much we're paying in a few weeks after we set our appointment. Still waiting for other documents. It's been the longest few months but hopefully we'll have more movement soon.

When I asked about it the nurse said that the insurance wouldn't pay because of the visa situation, or because I'm getting them for the visa. I took her word for it but if they reimburse you then that's great!

Hi. For those who are getting vaccines done, is it because you don’t have your records of having them done or is the embassy still making you do the vaccines no matter? I have my old vaccination record but just trying to see whether I need to potentially budget that amount of money for the medical.

Thank you.

Thank you. I was reading a little into you TL and noticed that you haven't received your interview as yet. Maybe due to a high-time visa appointments in nassau ?

It's not them, it's us. We had to mail his fingerprints to Canada since he lives there for a few years over 5 years ago. That took additional time. I just updated our timeline. Our interview is scheduled for 3 weeks from today! How's everything going your way?

Nice! Well Finally calming down after Friday's approval we haven't done anything yet. We were told by several forums to just wait 2-4 weeks for an email.

Bahamas is different. You won't want to wait for an email. Have your fiance give them a call in 4-5 weeks in order to receive the packet and then set up the interview. The best time to call is 7:45am. We haven't gotten an answered call after the morning has passed. You can also email (IVNassau@state.gov) but prepare to wait.
