Letter from the Consulate needed for Interview

Hello! 

 

My Fiance and I have received notice from the NVC that our case is "Ready" on March 28th, but we still haven't received any letter from the London consulate with instructions on scheduling the interview. We have done the medical and have everything else together and even went ahead and scheduled the interview for the first week of May, but will we need that letter with the instructions for how to book it for the actual interview itself? 

 

I have been getting conflicting stories from the Embassy when I contact them directly.

As far as im aware you just need all the required documents and your instructions page that you get when you booked your interview.

Your interview date is written on something...the confirmation email?  Or log back in to the scheduling site and print it.  They just want you to have something with the interview date printed on it so you can be admitted inside quicker. If you went with nothing, they could still look on their list of interviews and let you in. But it's like having a ticket in your hand to show your confirmation. Saves them time.
