Immigration Guide for Foreign Parent of US citizen

hi guys i am new here i am a US citizen and i want to apply for immigration for my father and mother. My Both parents is in Pakistan. I want to know how to start the imigration process.? Someone told me that you have to file I-130 and form G-325A for both of your parents is that corret? please help me.

Follow the link on the vj guide tab for IR5. Parent of USC and also read the information on the USCIS webpage.

 

Each parents petition stands alone and hence requires its own I130, fee and documents. G 325A has been obsolete for quite a while now 

Never rely on “someone said.....” , always find and throughly read the available information on the official government webpages

so i just need to I-130 for each of my parents and not to file G-325A with I-130..?????

Read the instructions that accompany the I-130 first. Come back and ask questions after you have read the entire document. The fact that you are asking about a G-325A suggests you have not done any reading yet.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!
