Somewhat on the same topic . . . When I-864's are submitted in the I-485 AOS package along with the I-131 and I-765, is the I-864 processed at the national center along with the I-131 and I-765?

Where I'm going with this is: If an AOS interview is scheduled and no RFE's have come regarding issues on the I-864, has the I-864 already been reviewed and approved? Or do I-864 questions come up in the AOS interviews?

Yes but it is processed seperately. Actually they are all processed separately at the NBC.

I765 and I131 are completely processed at the NBC and issued from there.

The I485 is processed there and then sent to your local field office to be queued for an interview there.

It has been reviewed yes and declared as fit.

If your financial situation changes by the time you are interviewed they can ask for an updated i864 but that rarely happens.

An I-864 is not "processed" as it is not an application/petition/etc. It is typically reviewed at NBC for basic fitness, though (i.e. minimal income met, documentation is provided, etc.).

The IO will determine if the I-864 is suitable or not. They make the final call on the public charge concern.
