Congratulations John & Rose, great news that your expedite has been approved. I have couple of questions if you don't mind answering:

1) Did you send in your expedite request before getting the case number?

2) I see that you have already paid the IV fees and I assume you will have to fill out the DS-260 online on CEAC. Do you still have to submit all your civil and supporting documents online on ceac or will your case be sent directly to US embassy even before docs are uploaded and you just show the embassy your originals at interview.

3) Would you happen to know how long it takes for the case file to reach NVC and do you have to call the embassy to schedule an appointment?

sorry for all the questions, thanks & congrats again.

We did send the request before we had the NVC case number. We made the request through NVCEpedire@state.gov.

In our case they said to pay the fees, fill out the DS-260 and upload the files and then they will forward it straight to the Embassy.

It took us 43 days to get out Case number. I’m not sure when NVC received our case but USCIS says they sent them on January 31.
