Hello,

I am a new member and have found this forum a great help during the K1 visa process.

I have a question about rescheduling the interview.

I am still waiting for the I-134 to be delivered by the courier from the US but my interview is on Wednesday March 13.

I have all the documents needed except for that.

How many day/s before the appointment am I allowed to reschedule it?

Do not cancel your appt.   Have your fiance email a copy of the I-134 and everything to you, embassy will accept copies

As for cancelling an interview the embassy requires 24 hrs before.      But like said DON'T cancel!

Thank you for the quick response and for putting my mind at ease.

One thing I don't have to worry about while preparing for the interview :)

I will ask my fiance to scan the documents and email them to me.

I double checked the I-134 requirement.

Will they require a wet signature for it?

Or will printing the scanned copy my fiance signed be good enough?

The scanned copy will be fine ..    (and don't be too surprised if the embassy doesn't even ask for the support evidence .. but do be prepared ;)  :)  )

And don't stress about the interview, as long as you have a genuine relationship and know each other you will be fine   .. oh that reminds me.  Have your fiance email you a copy of the I-129F as it has the BIO information on your fiance which will be helpful at the interview.

Thank you for answering my questions :)

I have a copy of I-129F.  It was included in the mail that the US embassy sent to me.

Hoping for a good result after the interview 😄

Excellent!    The BIO about your fiance is what you will need to know for question during the interview

(CFO will ask you questions about your fiance as well when you attend their seminar)

Visa was approved 😊

CO didn't ask for I-134 nor any of the supporting documents.

Congrats!  :joy:

Aren't ya glad you didn't reschedule your interview?  ;)

(not surprised on the CO not asking for the I-134)

Wait, are you going to be interviewed in Taiwan?!  If so, fullerene's experience in the US embassy in Manila may not reflect what would be required of you in Taiwan.  Please clarify so we can provide more appropriate advice.

Yes, it would have prolonged the process/processing of the visa.

We're hoping I will be able to leave for the US on the first week of April.
