Hello everyone,

My I 130 petition was approved at Texas service Center on 12/29/2018 and we got the letter but our status never updated on the website.

We started calling NVC about 3 weeks after we got the letter and they said they never got our case. It's been 66 days and we call every week and get the same answer.

We tried to call USCIS and can't reach a real person. Tried to open an inquiry on USCIS website and they tell us we can't open it because our case is in "normal processing time".

Honestly I don't know what to do anymore, I feel emotionally exhausted right now.

Can anyone tell me what to do now? I'm afraid they lost our case at this point.

Thank you.

you should call USCIS and ask for Level 2 Supervisor and ask him about tracking your petition that was sent to NVC. They can find out if the petition was sent or not and if it was delivered etc. Only Level 2 supervisor can give you this info.

Call USCIS at 1-800-375-5283 between 8am-8pm EST mon-fri and press options 1, 1, 2, 2, # and you will get to a real agent. ask him/her that you want to talk to a level 2 supervisor.

hi

and if all fails, you can file the i824 and request that the i130 be transferred to the NVC, but you will have to pay instead of uscis automatically sending the approved i130 to NVC
