 Our cc was on January 2019 and we just received our interview for January 7th, 2020. My husband has daca and I know the key thing that people say is to not worry and be honest but it’s very scary. He came on his own when he was 13 and doesn’t remember a lot but I’m worried that him not remembering will be a problem. If anyone has had an interview please let me know what questions they asked? 
 

also, we have waited 11 months for interview date and receiving this letter was a crazy amount of emotions for everyone waiting it will get there be patient.

Please let us know how did it go. My husband cc date was March 26, 2019. So I’m guessing we should be getting the appointment letter in February based on the recent pattern and your interview date. It seems like they are done giving out all the appointments cc dates for February 2019. Super excited can’t wait for February to get mine 😀

Hello,

it went really well for my husband they only asked him 6 questions. What is your name? When did you enter? You don’t remember where you entered? Is this your first marriage? Do you have children? How did you meet your wife ? And that’s it’s. My husband was 13 when he came on his own so the officer did lead that question of saying you don’t remember. I know it’s not always the case for many. My husband overheard people similar to him having 15-20 questions. He heard officers ask do you have daca? Show me your daca identifications? Where do your wife/husband work? Do you have tattoos? When did you get married ? How long have you known to it wife/husband? Many of the questions are simple so don’t be nervous. One thing my husband said is that we have read and been told that it’s scary and the officers are mean and intimidating. He said it’s only intimidating if you don’t follow the directions and they yell at you. If they say go into the blue chair do that don’t go around. Be ready have documents ready. We literally took so many documents and they didn’t ask him for any. All he had to show was the marriage certificate , the medical envelope, his police certificate from Mexico. Be honest and don’t lie remember that they have all the information. They don’t want our sob stories Because the process of extremely hard and difficult but they just want you to answer what they ask. Make sure you are truthful of your entrance but be careful on what you say. We know someone that was punished for 3 years for saying she was scared and told her 2 friends to come with her. They said it was like human trafficking so yes she is back in the U.S but she was banned for 3 years. Good luck and don’t be afraid and if you are still waiting be patient it is almost over. You will have peace and joy soon. God bless!

They didn’t say or my husband doesn’t remember but most people say it takes 2 months. Once approved they will add a temporary visa for 6 months so if you wanted to travel you will be fine.

We paid for our green card prior to leaving Mexico and received it 3 weeks later.  It can take upto 4 months.

 

Your visa stamp is good for a year and acts as a green card.   We came in on a sunday and was back in Sonora on friday.

My husband is still in queue for cc feb.26.2019

Would they give him a work permit with the temporary visa?
