i just gave my biometric fingerprinting after 4 weeks of filling , now what ?

 

what is next please ?

What did you file for?  

 

Check your case status update for AoS or RoC, after biometrics you just chill out and wait for either an approval or a notice of interview, or an RFE if you forgot to include something.  It’s almost always a waiting game with USCIS.

 

Not sure of the process for other types of visas though, so if it’s something else, post that and someone else will chime in with their expertise.

Definitely take the time to fill out your timeline, it is worth it's weight in gold. There are very knowledgeable people on here and they can look at your timeline, sometimes just the info under your member information and point you in the right direction with just a glance. I know I have gotten the best information on this whole process thru this website. No lawyers or anything, just the guides and the members here. Sounds like you just did Bio-metrics for AOS, so best bet is to check your status online and see if it changed or updated, and it may have some more information, but usually it is a "thanks, go back to waiting again."
