Still waiting for interview

All the NVC documents were sent in about two or three months ago. We are still waiting for the interview and do not understand why it is taking so long. The ceac.state.gov website says it is still at the NVC. Is this a formality or has it never been sent to the embassy yet? Does the ceac website ever say it's been sent to the embassy? Haiti is the interview country.

We didn't get an email.  Everything on the ceac page says either complete or paid. We don't have the Internet option and had to mail everything, but we have been told that everything was received when we called.

Then don’t expect an interview as yet cause they have to email you and tell you that you are approved so better call them again and ask

How does it look in ceac when it's complete?

Historically it will say n/a for the fees.  But you should call and see.  Normally they send you an email.

You will get email at two different place, CEAC has their own email system once you sign in, at top right you will see messeges, and secondly is the email you provided them. Both place you will receive email for CC which will say all documents have been accepted and now your in que for interview. Also, your case is not going to be sent to embassy until your scheduled for interview.

The n/a fee part doesn't happen anymore, at least not with me.

Hi did you find a slot? I'm in the same situation my K1 appointment was cancelled because of the protest on February 15th, I still can't find an available one it's been more than 3 weeks. But I've heard that people who were cancelled just showed up at the US embassy they got interviewed. Does anyone else hear that please?

Hey, have you gotten an interview date yet? Have you heard any new news regarding the embassy in Haiti?
