Hello,

 

 

     We got Approved at the Embassy, and my Fiancee is looking into getting her CFO. However, CFO schedule in mindinao is booked tight until March 18..... She is thinking of flying to Manila to do her CFO; opinions?

 

also, does her 6yr old daughter need to go to the CFO as well? How long does the CFO take?

which office has the earliest opening  - Clark, Cebu, Manila, Davao ?   Clark may be the least busy

 

Daughter only needs to be registered to get the sticker in her passport, do that when getting the stickers after receiving the visas.

She is in Davao, she went ahead and booked it in Manila and will do it in the same day she arrives and leaves on Mar 4. I hope that will be okay

Their is a CFO location in Davao. Manila is the toughest office to interview in and can give you problems. If she is getting CFO and then heading to the airport, that is not a bet I would be willing to take with Manila and leaving the same day. But that's me. Cebu and Clark are much easier and Davao also. Just our experience.

CFO is turning into a worse roadblock than any American part of the Visa process.  We are also now approved but no office will see her before Mid-March at best.  We are considering taking a 'vacation' to Hong Kong and then departing from there.  Total bullcrap system.

Good luck with that ... once the visa is in the passport she will not be allowed to exit the country without the CFO sticking .. no matter the "destination" 

 

(Part of why we tend to suggest completing CFO before the interview)

We don't hear anyone reporting getting around the CFO.  I do agree it is just another con game played on the citizens of Philippines, but they are conditioned to accept it.

No.  Calling the embassy does no good, you change the delivery address online in your profile.   You have up to 24 hours after the interview to update your delivery address.

 Thanks. Also I’d like to ask if is it okay to get a flight with Eva air and China eastern airline? They offer really cheap flights and Eli is having doubts with them.

Eva air is part of the star alliance along with United airlines,  China Eastern is a part of skyteam along with Delta airlines
