Interview was approved but a clerk put a hold on the case until certified copies of divorce decree provided, delaying processing a week. No additional interview needed, just had to send in copies and passport to consulate via LBC |

Took just over 2 hours. Pre-interview Filipino clerk didn't like that the approved packet has photocopies of divorce decree instead of "dry seal" (this misname for embossed seal) certified copies. Interview with American officer was very short and pleasant.
End result was that we were approved but would not be processed until we sent the consulate an LBC with her passport, a form and the certified decree copy. It cost 140 to get an international FedEx send them 480 peso for the LBC. Annoying but it's done, just a little over a week delay to our plans. Good thing we left a 3 week buffer from the interview date when booking travel. |

If things don't work out with her, I would like her. I'm dumping my own wife.. things didnt' turn out.. I'm not planning on filing her removal of conditions. she can go back to philippines for all i care..
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
