Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : May 19, 2025 Embassy Review : Took just over 2 hours. Pre-interview Filipino clerk didn't like that the approved packet has photocopies of divorce decree instead of "dry seal" (this misname for embossed seal) certified copies. Interview with American officer was very short and pleasant. End result was that we were approved but would not be processed until we sent the consulate an LBC with her passport, a form and the certified decree copy. It cost 140 to get an international FedEx send them 480 peso for the LBC. Annoying but it's done, just a little over a week delay to our plans. Good thing we left a 3 week buffer from the interview date when booking travel. Rating : Poor
