Here is what happens when I try to check our case status using the confirmation number (AA number)

You cannot use the nonimmigrant checker...  Use the immigrant checker.  The nonimmigrant one does not work until after the interview and the visa hsa been approved.  Just enter your MNL# on the immigrant side

YMMV

Thanks. That one still has the "At NVC" status.

Yup, it will go "in transit" once NVC ships the petition to Manila.  It will change to "ready" when Manila receives the petition

Thanks Hank! We already filled the DS-160 out and have a copy of the confirmation page.

The CEAC.state.gov/iv link from the (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/after-petition-approved/ceac-electronic-processing.html) page is what led me to the page saying "K visas are non immigrant visas ...." in the photo from my post above. That link appears to be for the immigrant visa and asks you to put in your case # and invoice #.

My fiance is on her way to pay the visa fee :)

You do NOT submit your documents online.    I know it is confusing .. sort of.   But that is instructions for (actual) immigrant visas .. you are K-1    only processed as an immigrant visa, all required documents (step 5 of the checklist) are brought to the interview.

Do we need to bring an updated Cover letter, Our story letter too? Besides the intent to marry letter. How about the copy of the I-129f copy? We don’t have a duplicate just like the one we’ve sent to USCIS, should we just print another copy? Haha thanks you we just got our Noa2 on 2/28 and we’re getting some papers ready for the interview :)

This is what you need for your interview:

You don't need a cover letter or intent to marry letter. We brought new photos with us. They didn't ask to see them. Other people were asked for photos....

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.

Some people brought an updated intent to marry just like the one sent to USCIS, the only difference is the date and address. Thank you tho 🙂

**  Send a copy of the I-129F to your fiancee/beneificiary, it has the BIO info on the petitioner which can be helpful for the interview questions.

Give things a little time for you case file to move from USCIS to NVC then email NVC to get your MNL#, details in the link below

Email NVC!   You will need the reply email for the medical at St. Luke's

Calling won't help to speed things up.
